Quick recap

Thanos gathers all six Infinity Gems in the Gauntlet and becomes all but a god. To impress Mistress Death, death herself, he snaps his fingers and wipes out half of all life in the universe. Adam Warlock, back from the dead, rallies Earth's surviving heroes and the greatest cosmic powers to face him. The first assault is a massacre. In a moment of distraction, Nebula, Thanos's granddaughter, steals the Gauntlet and undoes the snap, but becomes a threat herself. Warlock takes the Gauntlet from her. The saga ends with the universe restored and a defeated Thanos choosing a simple life as a farmer.

    In issue #1, Thanos snaps his fingers with the Gauntlet and wipes out half of all life in the universe. The films moved the snap to the end of Infinity War.
