A family of interdimensional hunters, the Inheritors, led by Morlun and his father Solus, has been feeding on the spider-heroes of every universe. The Superior Spider-Man notices Peter Parkers dying everywhere and raises an army of spiders. Peter, Spider-Gwen, Miles, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir, Silk and many more join up. A prophecy names three keys to beating the Inheritors: the Bride, the Other and the Scion. After heavy losses, the final battle takes place on the Inheritors' homeworld, where Kaine makes a sacrifice. The villains end up exiled on a radioactive world they can't leave without dying.
