Quick recap

Betrayed and hunted, Paul and Jessica cross the deep desert in search of the Fremen. They find Stilgar's band, and Paul must fight Jamis to the death to be accepted. He wins, takes the name Muad'Dib and begins living among the Fremen, alongside Chani. Jessica teaches the Bene Gesserit way and is asked to replace the sietch's old Reverend Mother. To do it, she drinks the Water of Life, survives and becomes a Reverend Mother while still pregnant with her daughter. The volume ends with Paul rooted among the Fremen and his visions of a holy war growing clearer.
