Quick recap

In 1984, Diana works at the Smithsonian in Washington and acts in secret as Wonder Woman. With her shy colleague Barbara Minerva, she studies the Dreamstone, a wish-granting rock. Without realizing it, Barbara wishes to be like Diana, and Diana wishes Steve Trevor back, and he returns in another man's body. Failing businessman Max Lord becomes the stone itself and starts granting wishes while taking something in return, until the world is on the brink of nuclear war. Diana realizes she's losing her powers. Steve convinces her to renounce her wish, and he's gone. In Asteria's armor, Diana defeats Barbara, now transformed into the Cheetah, and uses the Lasso of Truth to get Max and the world to give up their wishes.
