Quick recap

In present-day Paris, Diana receives an old photo from 1918 and remembers. Daughter of Queen Hippolyta, she grows up on Themyscira, trained by her aunt Antiope. American pilot Steve Trevor crashes off the island with Germans on his tail, and Antiope dies in the beach battle. Convinced Ares is behind World War I, Diana leaves with Steve. On the Belgian front, she crosses No Man's Land and frees the village of Veld. Diana kills General Ludendorff, but the war goes on. The real Ares is Sir Patrick Morgan, and she learns that the god-killing weapon is herself. Steve sacrifices himself by blowing up the plane carrying Doctor Poison's gas. Diana spares Doctor Poison and defeats Ares. In the present, she thanks Bruce Wayne for the photo.
