Letty Ortiz

Letty races, fixes cars and rides along on the crew's cargo heists. She has doubts about the plan but goes anyway to back Dom up. On the last job, the trucker fights back, Vince is shot and Letty's car flips on the highway. She survives, hurt. With the police onto them, the crew breaks up and she has to leave the country.

Letty finds Dom again in the Dominican Republic, as the short Los Bandoleros shows, and goes back to hijacking fuel tankers with him, Han, Leo and Santos. When the police close in, Dom slips away alone in the night so she won't go down with him.

Months later the news arrives: Letty has been killed. Dom learns she had been working undercover inside drug lord Braga's operation, for Brian, to get Dom's record cleared. Fenix, Braga's enforcer, admits he killed her when she tried to get out.

Letty didn't die. She survived the blast with no memory, and the mercenary Owen Shaw took her into his crew. In London she shoots at Dom without knowing who he is. Dom challenges her to a race and gives back her cross necklace, but she goes back to Shaw.

In Spain, Letty is thrown from Shaw's tank and Dom catches her in midair. Even without her past, she chooses his crew. On the runway she takes on Riley, the agent who betrayed Hobbs, and sends her off the plane with a harpoon. Back at the house in Los Angeles, she says it feels like home.

Letty still doesn't know who she used to be. She goes off alone to figure herself out while Deckard Shaw, Owen's brother, hunts the crew. She comes back for the God's Eye mission, from Abu Dhabi to the final fight in Los Angeles.

At the end, holding an unconscious Dom, Letty tells him she remembers everything. Including that the two of them had gotten married before she was presumed dead.

Letty and Dom honeymoon in Havana. When Dom betrays the crew and starts working for the cyberterrorist Cipher, she is the one who insists he must have a reason. She is right: Cipher was blackmailing him with a son he had never met.

In F9, the two are raising little Brian on a farm, off the grid. Mr. Nobody's call puts them back on the road against Jakob, Dom's brother. In Tokyo, Letty and Mia get a surprise: Han, alive. In the final fight, she pulls Dom out of the water as he is drowning.

In Rome, Dante's bomb tears through the city and Letty is arrested by the police. She ends up in a secret Agency prison. Tess, Mr. Nobody's daughter, wounds her on purpose so she will be sent to the infirmary, where Cipher is held. The two enemies work out that they are in Antarctica and have to fight their way out together.

During the escape, the person who surfaces in a submarine to pick them up is Gisele Yashar.

Michelle Rodriguez has played Letty since 2001. In F9's flashbacks, teenage Letty is played by Azia Dinea Hale. The character's full name is Leticia Ortiz.
