Quick recap

Maggie, Negan and Daryl attack Meridian, home base of the Reapers, who destroyed her old community. Daryl reunites with Leah, who turns enemy and ends up dead. Eugene leads the group to the Commonwealth, a city of 50,000 run by Pamela Milton. Life there looks good, but it hides class divides, corruption and Lance Hornsby. When Pamela's son, Sebastian, dies, Eugene is put on trial, and the Commonwealth takes over Alexandria and the Hilltop. The group rebels with help from General Mercer. A herd of smarter walkers overruns the city. Luke, Jules and Rosita die. Pamela is arrested. A year later, Ezekiel runs the Commonwealth, and Daryl rides off on his motorcycle. In a final scene, Rick turns up alive, held by the CRM, while Michonne keeps searching for him.
