Quick recap

The communities live in fear of the Whisperers. Carol goads Alpha, who brings a herd close to everyone. Siddiq learns that Dante, the new doctor, is a spy, and Dante kills him. Negan infiltrates the Whisperers and, in a plan worked out with Carol, kills Alpha. Michonne finds clues that Rick may be alive and leaves to look for him. Beta leads the last herd, and the Hilltop burns. Maggie returns, and the group lures the walkers off a cliff; Beta is eaten alive. Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko and Princess are surrounded by Commonwealth soldiers. In six bonus episodes, Maggie brings word of the group that destroyed her community, Daryl and Carol drift apart, and Negan's past with Lucille is revealed.
