Quick recap
Six months after Season 2, a more confident Ezra, using tricks he picked up from a Sith holocron, leads a mission to rescue Hondo Ohnaka and steal Y-wing fighters from an Imperial facility. Kanan, blind since his duel with Maul, pulls away from the crew and meets a mysterious creature, the Bendu, who teaches him to see through the Force in time to help with the rescue. On the Imperial side, Governor Pryce calls for help and the newly promoted Grand Admiral Thrawn enters the picture: a strategist who studies his enemies' culture and art to understand how they think. He lets the rebels escape on purpose because he wants to find the whole rebel fleet.
