The crew is now part of a wider rebellion, and Ahsoka Tano, their mysterious contact Fulcrum, fights alongside them while Darth Vader hunts the rebels. Ahsoka, Kanan, Ezra and Chopper travel to Malachor, an ancient Sith world, seeking knowledge to beat the Inquisitors. There they meet an old hermit who turns out to be Maul. He helps Ezra get a Sith holocron and defeat three Inquisitors, then betrays the group and blinds Kanan with his lightsaber. Vader arrives, and Ahsoka, Anakin's former apprentice, faces him, knowing her old master is behind the mask. She stays behind in the collapsing temple so the others can escape. Her fate is left open.
