Quick recap

The Millennium Comet passes overhead for seven nights, and Ash, May, Max and Brock go to a festival to watch it. Max finds Jirachi, a Pokémon that wakes up only once every thousand years, and becomes its friend. The magician Butler, a former Team Magma member, wants to use Jirachi's power to create a Groudon and prove himself. The plan backfires and produces a fake Groudon that absorbs everything around it, people and Pokémon included. Ash and Max rescue Jirachi, and a remorseful Butler helps reverse the machine. Everyone is freed. As the comet leaves, Jirachi goes back to sleep, and Max promises never to forget his friend.
