Quick recap

Ash keeps traveling through Hoenn and wins three more badges: a Fire-type one, one against May's father Norman, and the Flying-type one. Treecko evolves into Grovyle and Taillow into Swellow, and May sees Torchic become Combusken while collecting ribbons in Contests. Team Magma and Team Aqua fight over a meteorite on Mt. Chimney and later raid a weather institute for data on Legendary Pokémon. Team Rocket keeps showing up in new disguises. The group reaches Lilycove, where May enters another Contest and everyone trains for the home stretch of the Hoenn journey.
