Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Three years later, Isla Nublar's volcano is about to erupt. Ian Malcolm tells the Senate the dinosaurs should be left to die. Claire, now an activist, takes help from Benjamin Lockwood, Hammond's old partner, and recruits Owen to find Blue. Claire and Owen sneak onto the ship and save Blue with T. rex blood. At Lockwood's estate, Mills kills the old man and auctions off the dinosaurs with Wu, who has built the Indoraptor. Maisie, Lockwood's granddaughter, learns she's a clone of his daughter. The Indoraptor escapes and dies fighting Blue. With the animals trapped and gas leaking, Maisie sets them free. Malcolm declares that dinosaurs now live among us.

• After the credits After the credits, a flock of Pteranodons flies over Las Vegas and lands on the replica Eiffel Tower at the Paris Las Vegas hotel. The dinosaurs have reached the cities.

   The Indoraptor's front teeth and long claws were inspired by Count Orlok in Nosferatu. Bayona went with black so it would read like a shadow, and the mansion got a haunted-house feel.
