Quick recap

Six years after Camp Cretaceous, Darius works for the Department of Prehistoric Wildlife, hunting a blind Allosaurus in California. Brooklynn is presumed dead, killed by that Allosaurus. Ben shows up convinced her death was no accident. The two are hunted by Atrociraptors controlled by a silent woman, the Handler. They learn Brooklynn was investigating dinosaur smuggling. The group reunites at Sammy's ranch in Texas, which gets attacked, and Bumpy lays an egg. In Colorado, Kenji's father, Daniel Kon, says he met Brooklynn about the black market and is then killed by the raptors. The Handler works for someone called the Broker. The group boards a cargo ship full of dinosaurs. In the end, Brooklynn is shown alive, missing an arm.

Hidden details

  1. Behind the scenesA death to raise the stakes

Brooklynn's fate was written in response to criticism that Camp Cretaceous lacked real danger. The conspiracy-thriller tone draws on The Parallax View and All the President's Men.

  2. Behind the scenesNew voices for Brooklynn and Kenji

Kiersten Kelly replaces Jenna Ortega as Brooklynn; she has a limb difference, a deliberate casting choice for representation. Darren Barnet takes over Kenji from Ryan Potter.
