Quick recap

Sean Boswell, a troublemaking teen racer from Arizona, is sent to Tokyo to live with his Navy father and stay out of jail. There, Twinkie introduces him to drifting. In his first race, Sean loses badly to Takashi, the DK, nephew of a yakuza boss, and wrecks a borrowed car. To pay off the debt, he goes to work for Han, who becomes his mentor. Sean learns to drift and grows close to Neela, Takashi's girlfriend. When the uncle finds out Takashi has been stealing from him, a chase breaks out across the city, and Han's car is T-boned by a Mercedes and explodes. Sean and his dad build a 1967 Mustang, and Sean beats Takashi on the mountain run. At the end, Dom Toretto shows up to challenge him.
