Quick recap

In 2002, Jimmy McGill is a broke lawyer working out of a back room in a nail salon and living off public defender cases. His brother Chuck, a partner at HHM, is on leave and shut in at home, convinced electricity makes him sick. A scam with two skateboarders lands Jimmy in the desert with Tuco Salamanca, and he talks the kids' death sentence down to broken legs. Mike Ehrmantraut, the courthouse parking lot attendant, turns out to have a past as a Philadelphia cop. Jimmy finds out the Sandpiper retirement homes are cheating their residents and builds the case with Chuck. Then he learns Chuck was the one who kept him out of HHM. It ends with Jimmy turning down a prestigious job, done with playing it straight.

  3. Reference"It's showtime" straight from All That Jazz

In the courthouse montage, Jimmy looks in the mirror and says "It's showtime, folks!" The line comes from Bob Fosse's All That Jazz, and so does the Vivaldi concerto.
