Quick recap
Cut off from the Sith, Maul and Savage build the Shadow Collective: Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian group Death Watch plus Black Sun, the Pykes and the Hutts. They stage chaos on Mandalore so Death Watch can "save" the planet and topple the pacifist Duchess Satine Kryze. Vizsla takes power and betrays Maul, who beats him in a Darksaber duel and takes over; Satine's sister Bo-Katan refuses to follow an outsider. Maul installs Almec as a puppet ruler and lures in Obi-Wan, who loved Satine. Maul kills Satine in front of him. Bo-Katan helps Obi-Wan escape. Darth Sidious arrives, kills Savage and takes Maul away to be tortured. Mandalore stays under Maul's control.
