Anakin and Obi-Wan rescue Chancellor Palpatine from General Grievous, and Anakin executes Count Dooku. Padmé is pregnant, and Anakin dreams she dies in childbirth. Palpatine reveals he is Darth Sidious and promises the power to stop death. Mace Windu tries to arrest him, Anakin intervenes, Windu dies, and Anakin becomes Darth Vader. Sidious issues Order 66: the clones kill the Jedi and Vader storms the Temple. Obi-Wan kills Grievous; Yoda faces Sidious and loses. Palpatine turns the Republic into the Empire. On Mustafar, Obi-Wan defeats Anakin, who is burned and sealed in the black suit. Padmé dies giving birth to twins: Luke goes to his aunt and uncle on Tatooine, Leia to Bail Organa on Alderaan. Yoda and Obi-Wan go into exile.

    Around the 24-minute mark, in the shot of the Senate landing platforms, the Millennium Falcon is parked there. Lucas confirmed to StarWars.com that it's the actual ship, before it had the owners you know.

    At the Coruscant opera, where Palpatine talks with Anakin, the blue-faced alien in the audience is George Lucas as Baron Papanoida. His kids also appear in the film as senators and Jedi.
