Quick recap

With the Enterprise damaged, Captain Christopher Pike takes over Discovery to investigate seven red signals scattered across the galaxy. With them comes a mystery: the Red Angel, a figure in a futuristic suit who appears in moments of danger. Burnham hunts for her adoptive brother Spock, who has visions of the Angel and is on the run. Discovery holds data from an ancient alien sphere, and Section 31's AI, Control, wants it to wipe out all life. The Angel is Burnham's mother, stranded in the future, and later Burnham herself. Pike sees his own future and accepts it. To save the galaxy, Burnham takes Discovery 930 years ahead, and Starfleet erases the ship from the records.
