Quick recap

Ash arrives in Kalos and starts his journey in Lumiose City, where he meets Clemont, an inventor and the city's Gym Leader, and his little sister Bonnie. Serena, who met Ash at a summer camp when they were kids, goes looking for him and joins the group. Ash catches Froakie and Fletchling, among others, and wins the region's first three badges. The group sees Mega Evolution up close by traveling with Gym Leader Korrina and her Lucario on their quest for a Mega Stone. Serena discovers Pokémon Showcases and decides to follow that path. Team Rocket, as always, is after Pikachu.
