Quick recap

Logan travels to Japan because the letters from Mariko Yashida, the woman he loves, have stopped coming. He finds that her father, Shingen, has returned, taken over the clan and married her to a brutal man to seal a criminal deal. Shingen humiliates Logan in a duel, and Logan meets Yukio, an assassin who falls for him. To save Mariko and his own honor, he takes on the Hand and the whole clan, all the way to a final duel with Shingen. Now free, Mariko agrees to marry Logan. The two extra issues show the wedding, which is cut short in a way that leaves the couple's future open.
