Quick recap

Kamala Khan is a Pakistani-American teen from a Muslim family in Jersey City who writes Avengers fan fiction and idolizes Captain Marvel. One night, when she sneaks out to a party against her parents' wishes, a mysterious mist covers the city. Kamala wakes up able to stretch and reshape her body, and in her first panic she turns into a copy of Captain Marvel. She saves a classmate, takes the name Ms. Marvel and tries to juggle school, family, mosque and hero life, with help from her friend Bruno. The volume ends with Kamala starting to take on the henchmen of a mysterious villain, the Inventor.
