Quick recap

Maya Hansen, an old acquaintance of Tony Stark, develops Extremis, a serum that reprograms the human body. A dose is stolen and injected into Mallen, an extremist who gains absurd strength and toughness and kills dozens of people. Tony takes Mallen on in the armor and nearly dies. To survive and win, he takes the serum himself: his body now links straight into technology, and the armor is stored inside him. In the final fight, Tony beats Mallen and finds out who let Extremis loose on purpose. The story ends with a new Iron Man and Tony rethinking his place in the world.
