Heretics of Dune

Fifteen centuries after Leto II's death, the Bene Gesserit face the Honored Matres, a violent order returning from the far reaches of the universe. The sisterhood raises a new Duncan Idaho ghola and calls on the old commander Miles Teg to protect him. On Rakis, once Arrakis, the orphan Sheeana shows she can command the sandworms. Under attack, Teg and Duncan flee; Teg discovers superhuman speed and prescience. The Honored Matres invade Rakis and destroy the planet along with nearly all the worms. Teg dies in the battle, but one worm escapes with Sheeana and Mother Superior Odrade, who take it to Chapterhouse, the sisterhood's secret world.
