Dr. Gero's computer keeps running after his death and activates three new androids: 13, 14 and 15. They attack Goku at a mall where he's having lunch with Gohan, Krillin, Trunks and Chi-Chi. The fight moves out into the snow, and Vegeta and Piccolo arrive to help. The heroes destroy 14 and 15, but 13 absorbs their parts and becomes Super Android 13, huge and incredibly strong. Goku tries a Spirit Bomb as his friends buy him time. Since the villain can't absorb pure energy, Goku, as a Super Saiyan, takes the Spirit Bomb into his own body and punches straight through the android.
