Quick recap
Shortly after the Cell Games, with Goku dead, the tycoon Gyosan Money stages an Intergalactic Tournament. Gohan, Krillin, Trunks, Piccolo and Tien enter, and Mr. Satan does too, trusting his fame. The supposed alien fighters are Bojack and his gang, space pirates who'd been sealed on a planet and broke free when King Kai died. They hijack the tournament and crush the heroes one by one, and even Vegeta, who shows up mid-fight, can't hold out. Gohan is overpowered until Goku speaks to him from the Other World and spurs him on. Gohan turns Super Saiyan 2, wipes out the henchmen and destroys Bojack with a Kamehameha.
