Quick recap

About a year later, Batman, Lieutenant Jim Gordon and new district attorney Harvey Dent team up to break Gotham's mob. Bruce dreams of retiring and being with Rachel Dawes, now Dent's girlfriend. The Joker turns up robbing a mob bank and offers the bosses to kill Batman. Once caught, the Joker springs a trap: Rachel dies in an explosion and half of Dent's face is burned. Dent becomes Two-Face. The Joker also threatens to blow up two ferries, but the passengers refuse to kill each other. Batman captures him. Dent dies after taking Gordon's family hostage, and Batman takes the blame for his crimes to protect the city's hero. He becomes a fugitive.
