Quick recap

As a boy, Bruce Wayne watches mugger Joe Chill kill his parents in Gotham. As an adult, he's trained by Henri Ducard in Ra's al Ghul's League of Shadows. When he learns the League wants to destroy Gotham, he refuses and escapes. Back home, he builds Batman with help from Alfred and Lucius Fox, who gives him the suit and the Tumbler. He takes down mob boss Carmine Falcone and faces the Scarecrow and his fear toxin. Ducard turns out to be the real Ra's al Ghul and tries to spread the toxin across the city on a train. Batman leaves him to die in the crash. Finally, Gordon unveils the Bat-Signal and mentions a criminal who leaves Joker cards.
