Quick recap
Batman faces Two-Face, former DA Harvey Dent, scarred with acid in a courtroom and bent on revenge. At Wayne Enterprises, scientist Edward Nygma has an invention that beams TV straight into the brain, and Bruce turns it down. He becomes the Riddler and starts sending the billionaire riddles. At a circus, a Two-Face attack kills the Flying Graysons, except young Dick, whom Bruce takes in. The Riddler and Two-Face join forces, and Nygma's device steals Gotham's thoughts, Bruce's included. On Halloween, the villains wreck the Batcave and kidnap psychologist Chase Meridian, whom Bruce has fallen for. Bruce accepts Dick as Robin. In the Riddler's lair, Batman saves both Chase and Robin, Two-Face falls to his death and Nygma ends up in Arkham.
