Quick recap
John Constantine, an English exorcist and con man, carries the guilt of a botched exorcism that damned a little girl's soul, Astra. Warned that a Rising Darkness is coming, he agrees to fight it for a shot at saving his own soul. Beside him are Chas Chandler, the friend who always survives, and Zed Martin, an artist who has visions. The angel Manny drops in now and then without helping much. Across the U.S., John takes on demons, ghosts and the sorcerer Papa Midnite, and learns that a cult, the Brujeria, is behind the attacks. In the season's final scene, Manny reveals the Brujeria works for him. The show was canceled there.
