Quick recap

Jefferson Pierce, a high school principal in Freeland, hung up his Black Lightning suit nine years ago at the request of his ex-wife, Lynn. When the 100 gang, run by kingpin Tobias Whale, threatens his daughters, Jefferson suits up again. His older daughter, Anissa, discovers she has powers too, and his younger one, Jennifer, soon after. The trail of a drug, Green Light, leads to the A.S.A., a government agency that experimented on local kids decades ago and still keeps them in pods. Jefferson's ally, Gambi, kills Martin Proctor, who ran the operation, and the case becomes a public scandal. Tobias escapes and gets Proctor's briefcase open.
