Quick recap

In 2383, on the prison colony Tars Lamora, young Dal R'El and other prisoners find an abandoned Starfleet ship, the USS Protostar. With Gwyn, daughter of the tyrant Diviner, Tellarite Jankom Pog, Medusan Zero, gentle giant Rok-Tahk and the creature Murf, they escape, guided by a training hologram with Captain Janeway's face. They find out the Protostar carries a hidden weapon built to destroy the Federation, and fight to stop it. In season two, they ship out with Admiral Janeway on the Voyager-A to find Chakotay, lost in time. They face Asencia, who wants a war between Gwyn's people and the Federation. In the end, they become ensigns on a new ship, the USS Prodigy, with Gwyn as captain.
