Creed

Adonis Johnson is Apollo Creed's son from an affair, born after his father's death and pulled out of juvenile hall by Apollo's widow, Mary Anne. As an adult, he quits his job to box and moves to Philadelphia to find Rocky, who agrees to train him after a lot of pushback. He falls for his neighbor Bianca, a singer who's losing her hearing. When word leaks that he's Apollo's son, British champ "Pretty" Ricky Conlan, about to go to prison, offers one last fight, as long as Adonis uses the Creed name. Rocky is diagnosed with lymphoma and only agrees to chemo because Adonis insists. In Liverpool, Adonis knocks Conlan down and goes the distance, but loses a split decision. At the end, he and Rocky climb the museum steps.
