Quick recap

Adonis is retired: he runs the Delphi gym, looks after Bianca and their daughter Amara, and promotes champion Felix Chavez. Then Damian "Diamond Dame" Anderson shows up, a childhood friend and boxing prospect who spent 18 years in prison after a fight where he defended Adonis, who ran. Guilty, Adonis hires him as a sparring partner. When Chavez's opponent is attacked, Adonis puts Dame forward, and Dame wins the belt in his debut with dirty tactics. Adonis finds Dame's letters that Mary Anne had hidden and realizes the attack was a setup. Mary Anne dies, and Adonis tells Bianca what happened that night. He comes out of retirement to face Dame in a Los Angeles stadium, takes a beating and wins by knockout. In the end, the two make peace.
