Quick recap

Generations after Caesar, young chimp Noa lives in a clan that raises eagles. Raiders led by the gorilla Sylva burn the village, kill his father and take the clan. Noa sets out to rescue them and meets Raka, an orangutan who keeps Caesar's teachings, and Mae, a human who can speak. The clan has been enslaved by Proximus Caesar, who uses Caesar's name while trying to open a human vault full of weapons. Mae wants something inside: a key to reactivate satellites. Noa helps, they flood the vault, and Noa defeats Proximus with help from the eagles. Raka disappears in the water. Mae says goodbye while hiding a gun and takes the key to a group of humans with technology. Left open: humans are starting to regroup.

Raka names the human Nova, just like in 1968. Then he admits they call all humans that and he doesn't know why. Must be something from Caesar's time.
