Quick recap

In a pirate town, Scarlett and Giselle are getting ready for their weddings when they realize they're both engaged to the same man: Jack Sparrow. Before they can process it, they're dragged into a bride auction. Pirates bid, the two fight over who's worth more, and they end up sold as a pair to the Marquis D'avis for 700 pieces of silver and two goats. The auctioneer shackles them and insists it's all within the Pirate Code. In the chaos, a stray shot hits the Code book itself, a serious offense. Scarlett and Giselle escape and swear revenge on Jack. Scarlett reveals she's already started: she pulled four nails from his boat. The short ends with Jack at sea, bailing water out of his boat.

Hidden details

  1. ReferenceThe ride's bride auction

The "Take a Wench for a Bride" banner and the auction come from a classic scene on the Disney ride. Director James Ward Byrkit said the script recalls the attraction more than the movies, and the names Marquis D'avis and Atencio honor Imagineers who built the ride.
