Quick recap
CIA director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is facing impeachment and wants to erase evidence of Project Sentry. She sends Yelena Belova, John Walker, Ava Starr (Ghost) and Antonia Dreykov (Taskmaster) to the same vault, each ordered to kill the others. Antonia dies, and they find Bob, a man with no memory. With Alexei, the Red Guardian, they escape and become the Thunderbolts. Congressman Bucky Barnes brings them to Valentina's Watchtower, the old Avengers Tower. Bob is the Sentry, the project's only survivor, with near-godlike power. When Valentina tries to shut him down, the Void emerges, his dark side, and swallows New York in darkness. Yelena goes into Bob's mind, and the team hugs him back from the brink. Valentina then introduces them as the New Avengers.
