Quick recap

Six months after revealing he is Iron Man, Tony Stark is fighting the government, which wants his armor, while hiding that the palladium in his reactor is poisoning him. Ivan Vanko, son of Howard Stark's former partner, attacks Tony in Monaco with electric whips. Rival arms dealer Justin Hammer breaks Vanko out of prison to build suits. At a party where Tony gets drunk, Rhodes takes a suit to the military and becomes War Machine. Nick Fury reveals that assistant Natalie Rushman is agent Natasha Romanoff and hands over Howard's old material, which leads Tony to create a new element and cure himself. At the Stark Expo, Vanko hijacks Hammer's drones and Rhodes's armor. The two friends beat him, Vanko dies and Hammer is arrested.
