Quick recap

Smaug attacks Lake-town, and Bard kills him with the black arrow. The survivors take refuge in Dale and ask for their share of the treasure. Thorin, gripped by dragon sickness, refuses to share and hunts for the Arkenstone. Bilbo hands the stone to Bard and Thranduil to force a deal. Azog's armies arrive, and Dwarves, Elves and Men unite in battle. At Dol Guldur, Galadriel, Elrond and Saruman rescue Gandalf and drive Sauron away. Thorin comes back to his senses and kills Azog, but dies beside Bilbo; Fíli and Kíli fall too. Tauriel mourns Kíli, and Legolas heads north. Bilbo returns to the Shire, finds his belongings up for auction and keeps the ring a secret.
