Jon and Daenerys arrive at Winterfell, and Jon learns whose son he is. In the battle against the dead, Theon and Jorah fall, and Arya kills the Night King, unraveling his army. Daenerys loses Rhaegal to Euron and Missandei to Cersei's executioner. In King's Landing, the bells of surrender ring, but Daenerys burns the city anyway. Cersei and Jaime die under the rubble of the Red Keep. Jon kills Daenerys, and Drogon melts the Iron Throne and carries her body away. The lords choose Bran as king, with Tyrion as Hand. Sansa becomes Queen in the North, independent. Arya sails west of Westeros. Jon is sent back to the Night's Watch and heads beyond the Wall with the wildlings.
