Quick recap

Goku returns from the Other World for one day and reunites with his family, including the son he's never met, Goten. Krillin wins his bouts, and Piccolo forfeits when he recognizes a mysterious rival: the Supreme Kai. Videl is brutally beaten by Spopovich, a fighter who seems out of control.
