Quick recap

Goku arrives at Master Roshi's house and gets a training partner: Krillin, a short, crafty monk. To take them on, Roshi demands they bring back a girl, and they return with Launch, whose personality flips with every sneeze. For months they train hauling heavy shells. At the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament both clear the preliminaries; Krillin beats the monk Bacterian and Goku defeats the fighter Nam. In the final, Goku faces Jackie Chun, a mysterious old man who is Roshi in disguise. When Goku turns into a giant ape under the moon, Jackie destroys the moon with a Kamehameha and wins by a hair. Goku heads off to find his grandpa's ball.
