Chris Smith finds a portal in his father's house to another Earth, where Auggie and his brother Keith are alive and famous heroes. But the place is Earth-X, ruled by Nazis. Meanwhile, Rick Flag Sr., now running A.R.G.U.S., hunts Chris to avenge his son, killed in Corto Maltese. Peacemaker's crew escapes Earth-X, and Chris turns himself and the device over to Flag. Adebayo bails him out, he starts a romance with Harcourt and the group founds an agency called Checkmate. But A.R.G.U.S. has found Salvation, a world for locking up metahumans. In the end, Flag strands Chris there alone, with something roaring in the woods.

Post-credits scenes
After the credits Finale, first scene: Rick Flag Sr. pitches the Salvation plan to government officials. The Secretary of Defense suggests a "vaporizing barrier" around the planet, "like a bug zapper for aliens, metahumans," and Flag asks if he's making it up.
After the credits Second scene: the extended version of Economos's improvised joke to distract the A.R.G.U.S. agents, a rambling story about a Massachusetts truck driver. This time one agent cracks up. As all season long, every episode has its own extra scene.
