Amanda Waller assembles Task Force M, a team of monsters locked up in Belle Reve: the Bride, Nina Mazursky, G.I. Robot, Doctor Phosphorus and Weasel, led by Rick Flag Sr. The mission is to protect Princess Ilana Rostovic of Pokolistan from the sorceress Circe. Along the way, Eric Frankenstein chases the Bride, and each episode reveals one member's past. Circe was right: Ilana dreamed of conquering the world, seduced Flag and used a disguised Clayface to fool the team. Nina dies on the mission. Once she learns the truth, the Bride kills Ilana, and Flag ends up in the hospital. In the end, the Bride leads a revamped Task Force M with new monsters. Left open is what happens to Eric, shot by the Bride and thrown through a window.

  1. CameoBatman in the lightning

    In episode 6, while Doctor Phosphorus dances at a Gotham nightclub, a flash of lightning reveals Batman standing outside the skylight. It's the Bat's first appearance in the DCU.
