Six months after the singularity, Barry meets Jay Garrick, the Flash of a parallel Earth. Breaches link Earth-1 to Earth-2, and through them comes Zoom, a speedster out to steal Barry's speed. The team gains Harry Wells, the original Wells's double, who is secretly working for Zoom because his daughter, Jesse, is a hostage. On Earth-2, Barry learns that Jay is Zoom himself, Hunter Zolomon. Zoom kills Henry Allen in front of Barry and challenges him to a race. A time remnant of Barry sacrifices himself to destroy Zoom's machine, and the Time Wraiths drag the villain away. The real Jay goes home to Earth-3. Shattered, Barry runs back in time and stops his mother's murder.
