Quick recap

The Great Plains, 1719. Naru, a young Comanche trained as a healer, wants to prove she's a hunter like her brother Taabe. She sees lights in the sky and starts finding signs of something that hunts for sport: a newly arrived Predator. Nobody believes her. French trappers capture Naru and Taabe and use them as bait, but the creature slaughters the camp. Before he dies, interpreter Raphael Adolini teaches Naru to fire his pistol. She also learns of an herb that cools the body and hides her from thermal vision. Taabe is killed in the fight. Naru lures the Predator into a bog and turns its own mask against it, so it shoots itself. She returns to her tribe with the monster's head and warns them: it's time to move.
