Wade Wilson, turned down by the Avengers, hangs up the suit and sells cars. The TVA explains his universe is dying because it lost its anchor being, the Logan who died in Logan. Agent Mr. Paradox wants to speed up the end with a machine called the Time Ripper. Deadpool steals a TemPad and searches the multiverse for a replacement Wolverine. He finds the worst one, a Logan who failed the X-Men. Paradox dumps them both in the Void, ruled by Cassandra Nova, Charles Xavier's twin sister. There they meet a resistance with Laura, Elektra, Blade and Gambit. Cassandra takes the Time Ripper to Wade's universe. Deadpool and Wolverine team up to destroy the machine, killing Cassandra, and both survive. Paradox is arrested, and Logan stays in Wade's universe.
