Quick recap

Scott Lang is enjoying hero fame when his daughter, Cassie, builds a device that sends signals into the Quantum Realm. The signal pulls the whole family down there. Janet, who lived there for 30 years, reveals her secret: she helped trap Kang the Conqueror, a man exiled by his own variants, and wrecked his ship's power core. Kang now rules the Quantum Realm and forces Scott to steal a power source so he can escape, threatening Cassie. Darren Cross, the first film's villain, is back as M.O.D.O.K. and redeems himself. Cassie leads the Quantum Realm's people in revolt, and Hank arrives with an army of ants. Scott and Hope beat Kang, who seems to die in the core. Scott makes it home, but Kang's variants are still out there.

  2. ReferenceMistaken for Spider-Man

Still on his walk through San Francisco, a coffee shop owner thanks Scott and calls him Spider-Man. It flips the joke where Spidey was always the one getting mixed up.

  3. ReferenceBill Murray's obscure character

Krylar, the lord played by Bill Murray, comes from a single issue of The Incredible Hulk comics. Very few fans knew him before the movie.

  4. ReferenceA cantina in the Quantum Realm

The bar where Scott and Cassie meet the rebels recalls the Mos Eisley cantina in A New Hope. It's not the only Star Wars nod: the fleet's arrival at the end echoes The Rise of Skywalker.
